Dick's published work has included portrait illustrations for major national ads in U.S.A. Today for president Ronald Reagan's second inaugural in 1985. Notable portrait commissions for the collectibles industry, book covers and prints which included baseball stars Kirby Puckett, Greg Maddux and Ryne Sandberg, football legends Tom Brady, Bud Grant, Bret Favre, Joe Montana and Jim Kelly, golf icons Sam Snead and Tiger Woods. His many portraits of stars of the entertainment world created for U.S. Federal stamp caches include Louis Armstrong, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline and Pete Fountain. In 1994, Dick was commissioned by the United States Historical Society in Washington D.C. to create a special print commemorating the 50th anniversary of the D-Day Normandy Invasion. Art prints were made available to all enlisted military personnel worldwide.
